Easy Crock Pot Ham

This easy Crock Pot Ham recipe is a great way to make a ham dinner and not heat up your house! Our ham always comes out amazing and full of flavor! Ham is one of my favorite foods even while growing up.   I can stock up when it’s on sale and it can be made into different meals later in the week as left overs. Plus we buy several hams when  they are on sale and freeze them for later in the year to make for a big dinner. This year for Easter we decided to make our ham up in the crock pot.   While we normally bake ours in the oven but Easter ended up being super nice and I didn’t want to heat up the house more than necessary.  While I normally use my 8 quart crock pot to make soup and crock pot shredded chicken but the ham fit pretty well in the crock. We did foil wrap it on the top to create the seal since the bone stuck up. One thing we did learn from this adventures I will not be doing spiral sliced hams in the crock pot again. It was a pain to remove very important lesson learned!

This recipe looks delicious. What type of ham did you use?? Was it a smoked ham or a raw ham?? Thank you so much.

It was a precooked spiral ham with some smoke flavoring. I would recommend a non spiral ham it proved to be difficult to remove from the crock pot cause of the slices.

I love ham, but I only eat it a couple of times during the year. Usually just on holidays.

This looks so good my daughter adds Sprite, to the pineapple juice. Makes it fork tender! Sue Dean

You all should add brown sugar, sprinkle about a half cup all over ham, rubbing it in (after pouring the pineapple juice )..no other liquid is needed. ..then, make a ham gravy with the juice when ham is done. ..best ever

I mix brown sugar (about 3/4cup )and a tsp cinnamon with the pineapple juice..and pou over the ham,not in the bottom..use your basterabout half way thru to suck up the juice and pour over the ham again..and do it once more when the cooking time is done..let the ham set a bit before slicing
