It’s that time of year. Even though it’s a ton of work, I love how fresh the house feels after a good spring cleaning! I try to do a room at a time because it makes the process seem so much less daunting. With where we live now, it seems like we are getting a lot more of dust coming in the house. Plus with the country setting and the trees around us, allergens are high flying in my house.
Over the years of dealing with allergies, I have realized that our linens can really hold onto a lot of allergy triggers for me and the kids. We don’t have much of a winter and our windows are open almost year round, and that invites in a ton of these particles in. Making sure that all linens are washed every spring helps, but the scents in many laundry detergents can cause skin issues and trigger allergies too, so I really need to be thorough. Having a checklist to break down the linens by room has helped me not to miss anything when I am spring cleaning the house. You can print this check list → here!
With three kids, I go through a ton of laundry detergent, so I was pumped on my recent visit to Sam’s Club when I found all® free clear in the laundry aisle. I love to buy in bulk at Sam’s Club.
