I recently had the chance to review Steps4Kids for Draw! I must say I am very pleased with the dvd!! My oldest Kylie who is 7 is always doodling and drawing pictures to go with the stories she writes.  Quite often she is frustrated with the fact she can’t draw the way she wants to things to look.  From animals, to people, to inammite objects she has struggled.  When I showed her the video this was her response to it “really mom a dvd is gonna teach me how to draw well?”  Well heres  the first drawing she did!!!

Looks like a cat!!! She was so proud of how well she did!!!!!  What I loved about the video is it went at a pace she coudl keep up with!! She sat here and drew with the hand on the tv and listened to the instructions.  My four year old didn’t want to draw but watched the movie with her labeling the shapes and encouraging her!!

Steps 4 Kids was just named DVD of the Year” for 2012 – Art Category, by Creative Child Magazine!  How awesome is that!! The company is USA based with dvds to help with writing and mulitpilaction!!!
